Zeitgeist
The capital's streets,
from Park Lane to Whitehall,
throb with anger,
as placards exclaim
'from the river to the sea'.
No temporary truce
can fan flames of division,
the Rubicon crossed.
Each side right,
mini tyrannies fed, plumped, fuelled.
Montagues and Capulets.
